These are the speed of the shapes you have to dodge. Use exactly 5 colors, these are the colors each level is Only choose numbers between 3 and 6, these are the shapes the game will automatically switch between (3 - triangle, 4 rectangle, 5 pentagon, 6 hexagon) I will say that the second to last level is just hard to look at for someone that isn't epileptic. If you want to change the level see the level1.json file: "level_shape": Pretty cool game if you aren't epileptic. Hexagon is a very easy (or not at least comparatively) Level, as it plays slowly compared to the other Levels and doesn't turn very quickly, leaving a good timeframe for the player to react to patterns, as well as very little pulsing, which. I spent a lot more than usual on last week's new releases or else I'd just impulse purchase it.Some extra levels to paste in the textarea: - JSON text to paste into the textarea Editing your own Level: Hexagon is the first Level in Super Hexagon (barring the Tutorial) and the predecessor to Hyper Hexagon. Its music is Courtesy by Chipzel. This game has 6 stages Level 1 Hexagon, Hard Level 2 Hexagoner, Harder Level 3 Hexagonest, Hardest Level 4 Hyper Hexagon, Hardester Level 5 Hyper Hexagoner, Hardestest Level 6 Hyper Hexagonest, Hardestestest This was made to post your scores 1- Point. Perhaps the green and red "characters" can safely pass through bars of their own color but cannot pass through white bars or bars of the other color.Īnyway, I'll be looking into the full version to see what it adds to the mix. Super Hexagon game by: Terry Cavanagh Music: Chipzel Release: November 2012 This a hard game released in November 2012 by Terry Cavanangh. The dual bars make your game unique and I can only imagine how much more insane something like SH would be with two "characters" to focus on. Mine would be for level 5 (Hyper Hexagoner) when I got 126 seconds (the last 6 seconds were in the final stage because the level sent me there after the 2 minute mark. It would be really cool if you could split the SH mode into a one-bar and two-bar mode. What are your best times in Super Hexagon Theres gotta be that one time where you went past the 60 second mark and just kept going for ever out of some weird stroke of skill. If you add it, make sure the bars in this mode all move at the same speed (it would make it more okay that they don't in the core game). Super Hexagon mode sounds completely awesome. Personally, I think pure action would reign supreme here, but perhaps that's not the sort of game you were going for. On the other hand, the timing and the other gimmicky bars do add a little bit of a puzzle element to the game that is fun. ![]() I think the reason it bothers me is that it forces me to think about the game too much when its really the sort of game where I want to zone out and let my thumbs and instinct take over. I realize that removing that feature would ruin most of your existing levels, so I totally understand if you would have no desire to alter it (and, after all, I'm only one customer). ![]() I dislike that the bars have different timing. ![]() My thumbs are hurting after playing about 20 levels, but I think that's inevitable with dual stick games on a phone. New level (hyper mode) is unlocked after completing one of the first three. I want to particularly call out the excellent control scheme - very intuitive, responsive, and easy to use. There are six levels and each of them last 60 seconds to be completed + encore. Hell, this game would still work if, like Super Hexagon, it didn't have any sort of upgrade system (that's a compliment). I don't know if that's impressive or not - though it does make most of the upgrades feel unnecessary. I perfected almost every level on the first try (including the last three). ![]() Just tried the free version and it was a lot of fun.
